This year we are hosting a Japanese arts & crafts workshop for the Nihongo no Niwa end-of-year student function! We can't wait to see you all there as we bring you an amazing day filled with traditional arts, crafts, and fun.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Nihongo no Niwa Japanese Language Club is proud to host a Japanese Arts & Crafts Workshop for its annual end-of-year student function! Teaming up with local non-profit organisation, Origami For Africa, our students will start the day with a crash course in the ancient techniques of Japanese Origami (traditional paper folding), followed by a beginner course in the traditional craft of Kimekomi, presented by Nihongo no Niwa's own Caitlin Spies from Arashi House.
The course will also include a tea-break laden with delicious treats and refreshments, including traditional wagashi.
