Hosted by the City of Cape Town’s Recreation and Parks Department in partnership with the Western Cape bonsai community, this festival brings together bonsai enthusiasts, horticulturalists, and families for a weekend of artistry, learning, and community.Visitors can explore the intricate techniques of bonsai, gain tips on growing trees in city spaces, and connect with a passionate community of bonsai lovers.
Set in the historic Company's Garden, the festival features stunning art and bonsai displays, an interactive zen garden, and a range of educational activities - including an ikebana demonstration as well as free expert talks on bonsai cultivation, tree care, and sustainable urban gardening.
