ABOUT THE EVENT
JLPT Cape Town 2026 (N5 & N4)
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) will be held in Cape Town on Sunday, 5 July 2026 at Stellenbosch University.
For 2026, the examination will offer N5 and N4 levels. Candidates who demonstrate strong participation this year will help encourage the expansion to higher levels in future sittings.
This is an excellent opportunity for students in the Western Cape to formally certify their Japanese language proficiency.
Preparation Support
Beginning in the second week of next March 2026, Nihongo no Niwa will offer weekly JLPT N5 and N4 preparation classes. These sessions are designed to strengthen grammar, vocabulary, kanji recognition, listening skills, and exam technique.
